Why do they call Muslims terrorists? Why do they vilify Islam?

Muslims...

• Did not initiate the First World War. 
• Did not initiate the Second World War. 
• Did not kill millions of Native Americans in America. 
• Did not carry out the Holocaust. 
• Did not exterminate the indigenous peoples of Australia and New Zealand. 
• Did not commit genocide in Africa, Rwanda, and Algeria.

You know who committed these actions...

-Muslims, during the time of the Ottoman Empire, welcomed Jewish refugees fleeing persecution in the West and lived together in peace for many years. Yes, Jewis had their nefarious plans, but that's not our current topic. As an example of Islamic tolerance, during the 15th century, it was Ottoman Sultan Bayezid who welcomed Jewish refugees expelled from Spain by King Ferdinand.

-When Muslims captured Jerusalem with the great commander Saladin, they did not mistreat anyone. Muslims, Christians, and Jews lived together peacefully. During the Ottoman era, peace reigned in Jerusalem for 400 years. Islam does not permit the coercion of anyone to change their religion. You cannot wage wars arbitrarily, and in warfare, you cannot kill women, children, the elderly, the disabled, and the sick. You cannot even cut down trees. You must provide your captives with food from your own supplies, and it is strictly forbidden to rape women.

-During the Ottoman era, Muslims did not impose their religion on Christians living in Europe. If they had, there would be no Christians left in Europe today; they would all have converted to Islam. Hungarian President Pal Schmitt, in an interview with the Spanish ABC newspaper, emphasized that Hungary, which was ruled by the Ottomans from 1541 to 1686, should consider this period as a stroke of luck. If we had been conquered by another nation, they would have demanded that we change our language and religion, and we would have been assimilated. According to Professor Paul Wittek, this was a result of the Ottoman's war-based "frontier culture." Indeed, the Ottomans did not only show tolerance to people of a specific ethnicity, religion, or sect but also treated the people of the conquered lands with complete tolerance.

The central Ottoman administration's stance remained unchanged even under the influence of the French Revolution. Although some Ottoman non-Muslims (such as Serbs and Greeks) initiated independence movements, the Ottoman administration's tolerance toward non-Muslim subjects continued. Ottoman leaders frequently expressed this tolerance, as seen in the example of Mahmud II's statement: "From now on, I want to recognize Muslims in the mosque, Christians in the church, and Jews in the synagogue."

Another British historian, F. Downey, has noted in a work that describes the superior qualities of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent that the Ottoman Empire's sense of justice was far superior to that of other states of the time. Downey recorded that many Christians sought refuge in the Ottoman Empire due to its justice, leaving their own countries. This reflects the Ottoman Empire's tolerant and just governance.

Why have we talked so much about the Ottoman Empire? Because the Ottoman Empire has a recent history, and its historical records have remained largely unchanged. But have they taught you about the Ottoman Empire in a different way? Oh, those misleading historians! Oh, those who rewrite history for their own interests.

Ill-intentioned manipulators who do not want Muslim-Christian rapprochement have even sown discord among Christians themselves; centuries-long Catholic and Orthodox wars are examples of this. Unity and solidarity have always been dangerous for some.

There are so many examples... Especially the recent example of Palestinian Muslims who welcomed and shared their homes with Jewish refugees in 1947, isn't that a beautiful example? You can ask Google for information about the 1947 Palestinian exodus. Unfortunately, these days, goodness is met with massacres!

Moreover, ill-intentioned individuals have used uneducated people to establish terrorist organizations and labeled Muslims as terrorists by creating fake Islamic groups, all in an effort to malign Islam. However, Islam does not condone terrorism. Those who cannot alter the Quran and the main hadith sources have tried to distort Islam by adding hundreds of false ideas and books. An important point to note is that these individuals have used people and societies who do not know Islam well and have been deprived of the true meaning of the Quran to achieve their goals. Unfortunately, these ignorant communities have become part of the Western manipulators' games and becoming puppets of individuals ,too , who may seem like Westerners but are not.  

So why are they so afraid of Islam? Let's objectively examine this issue...

• In Islam, there is no place for usury and interest, and it ranks among the greatest sins for Muslims. However, the entire global system is based on usury and interest, and Islam threatens this system.
•  In the Islamic economic system, Muslims are obliged to give alms to the poor. The Islamic economic model includes a wealth tax of approximately 2.5%, which is distributed to the poor. However, the capitalist system continues to seize all resources and even target the meager wealth of the poor, further enslaving people. 
• Islam prohibits Muslims from using alcohol and narcotics. The presence of a large alcohol industry and alcohol addiction today is why this industry and malicious individuals are against Islam. This prohibition applies to Muslims living in Islamic countries, while non-Muslims are free to consume alcohol.
• Islam does not permit pornography and condemns actions that could lead to moral decline. The current pornography industry certainly does not favor Islam. 
• Islam promotes good manners, encourages cooperation, and forbids oppression. You are witnessing oppressive individuals, mafias, and those who take bribes today. These people certainly do not want Islam. 
• Islam values the concept of family and respects moral values. Social media, like Hollywood productions, undermines the value of the family and promotes unrealistic images of men and women, increasing divorce rates. People are turning to illegitimate relationships outside of their family life.

Many more points could be listed... But pages would not suffice.

Of course, usury, alcohol, drugs, the film industry, the media, and the interest lobby are all part of the front that opposes Islam. Take note of who controls these industries...  

The only thing they have to do to vilify Islam is to use an ignorant segment of the population to portray Muslims negatively in the media and create fake Islamic groups to label Muslims as terrorists! Unfortunately, with this tactic, they have changed some Muslims and made them resemble themselves . Others true to their real Islamic identity through the Quran and hadiths.

If one day you find yourself in a small town in a Muslim country, tell them you are hungry. See how they will prepare a table for you. Or tell a food vendor that you are hungry and have no money. They will offer you their best food. Muslims cannot give bad or worthless things to the needy. They can only give what would make them happy if given to them. This is stated in the Quran,

"O believers! Donate from the best of what you have earned and of what We have produced for you from the earth. Do not pick out worthless things for donation, which you yourselves would only accept with closed eyes. And know that Allah is rich, Praiseworthy." (2:267)

Now I ask you, can such people be terrorists? Who are the real terrorists?
