Life Passes Like a Moment: Guidance, Trial, and Patience
Think back to the very first memory you have of your life—perhaps when you were five years old. Now, return to the present. How many years have passed? Some of you will say 20, some 50…
We are in an era where wars are knocking at our doors. Some are unhesitatingly fanning the flames of chaos! While our internal discussions continue, hidden enemies are after the apple. Do you realize? Those who seem to be on your side are not actually from you! They are nothing more than masks.
There is a prevailing division among Muslims today. Each group claims to be the best; one says, "Those among us will enter paradise," while another insists, "You cannot go without a turban and a cloak." Meanwhile, other groups debate the length of headscarves, and the number of those embarrassing themselves on social media is increasing. But what about Muslim youth and children? We’ve given them phones; they swipe and swipe, moving from one video to another, from one trend to another. While we can't even control our own children, what is this ego battle about? While some go to space, leaving us in debt, we are still fighting amongst ourselves.
The situation is even graver among Christians. Their religion has been turned into a business by countless churches and priests. Most people turn to the church only when in trouble, while a significant portion of the youth have become alcoholics and social media addicts. Ultimately, someone is putting your youth to sleep, and they are deceiving you as well. They’ve even shown you a distorted image of Islam. If you could put aside your prejudices and truly get to know Islam, reading the Quran, you would see that the one who sent Muhammad (PBUH) and the one who sent Jesus (PBUH) is the same: the one God, Allah (SWT). But reaching the real treasure requires effort; we need to break free from the traps.
We must open our eyes and look. Meanwhile, those who control global trade continue to profit from the additives in our food, the pharmaceutical industry, and the arms industry. There’s a system that invents diseases and then sells the cures. While they keep our children away from commerce by sending them to schools for years, they continue to be the collectors of money. Now, Christians, don’t say those people are "one of us," because they are not from you either; they find it easier to manipulate you. How quickly have you forgotten who the enemies of Jesus (PBUH) are? They now have their own financial empires and control the world; while we sleep, they reign supreme.
They set the agenda and turn people into robots. While we are still embroiled in our internal conflicts, chasing our own egos, we overlook who we are truly fighting against. This trend threatens everyone.

Think for a moment! A child stands in front of two strong men. How do you think this child would cope? First, he gets close to one to gain trust, then pits them against each other. While they fight, he snatches the apple and walks away, leaving them to their losses. The apple is gone, and yet you are still fighting with those two men! How tragic, isn’t it?
Don’t you see? Our ego battles are playing right into the hands of the real powers that be. We don’t even know who is fighting whom right now! While we are buried in our own disputes, we are losing our values and our future. While the two men are at each other’s throats, the child walks away with the apple.
It’s time to wake up! Stop deceiving yourselves! Every loss due to ego battles turns into an irreversible journey. If we don’t come together to break these traps, what we’ve lost will never return! Set aside your egos and see your real enemy. Otherwise, those lost apples will never come back!

One day, a person who had never seen the Prophet (pbuh) entered a gathering and started looking for him. His eyes searched the room, but unable to immediately recognize him among the people, he curiously asked:
"He is not one of us who sleeps full while his neighbor is hungry."
