Greatest Treasure

Greatest Treasure

So, what is the greatest treasure? Have we ever thought about it? We live in a vast universe, sharing the same world with billions of people. But in reality, each person lives in their own world. Everyone has their own universe, which means billions of worlds. The interesting thing is that everyone sees themselves as the most important person in their own world.

Imagine you have a precious treasure. You would hide it in a secret place to protect it from others, taking great care of it. If you want to share this treasure, you would want to choose the most deserving people who can appreciate it. You wouldn't want to give it to those who are ungrateful, greedy, or do not understand its value. You would prefer to share it only with those close to you, who love you, are trustworthy, and can keep a secret.

Truths are like this; they are valuable and are like a real treasure. Reaching this treasure is not always easy. It requires effort, patience, and the struggle to overcome difficulties. However, the truths that are attained after these challenges are often more precious than the most valuable treasures.

But is all of this meaningless in this grand universe? What are we doing here? Some are in pursuit of goodness, being helpful and humble. Some inflict harm, commit evil, and incite wars. Others are lost somewhere in between. Certainly, all these differences and contrasts must have meaning. Everything must have an owner. Could this grand struggle between good and evil, with all its complexity, be for nothing? Ultimately, there will be a day of reckoning for everything. Everyone will receive the consequences of their actions. In such a vast universe, isn't it inevitable for everything to come to balance?

So, what is the greatest treasure? Surely, it is reaching the unique Allah (Celle Celalühü) who created us from nothing. The ultimate treasure is obtaining His pleasure, love, mercy, and rewards beyond human imagination. This is why we were created, and why we accepted this test. Upon entering the world, we forgot, and now we seek that treasure. However, there had to be an enemy; a being that misguides humanity. This enemy became the devil, created before humans.

So, what was the devil’s mission? To mislead humanity and prevent them from reaching the treasure. He sets various traps; he makes the good appear bad, the bad appear good, the beautiful appear ugly, and the ugly appear beautiful. He is a very cunning being; he was created before humans and even taught the angels. Thus, we may question: Is the path that every person takes and the truths they defend truly correct? Or is it the rare, good-hearted, and moral individuals whose paths lead to the true truths?

Of course, there are those who think they are on the right path, but they too may have fallen into the traps set by the devil. The devil has led them into such deep darkness that they are not even aware of it. Moreover, those who have fallen into these traps judge others with the so-called "truths" they learned from the devil. Isn’t it a great trap? Now, it has become difficult to know what is right and what is wrong.

This is why prophets and the books they brought were sent. To guide people to the right path, to shed light on those who are lost in darkness, and to distinguish truth from falsehood. Without this sacred guidance, it is nearly impossible to escape the traps of the devil.

Many prophets have been sent since Adam (peace be upon him). Important figures in this lineage include Moses (peace be upon him), Jesus (peace be upon him), and finally Muhammad (peace be upon him). Each came to guide people to the right path and protect them from the traps of the devil. The last preserved book is the Quran. This book is a treasure that guides humanity, distinguishing right from wrong, and leading from darkness to light.

The character of Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the Quran; his life and actions reflect the essence of the Quran. By teaching mercy, justice, and righteousness, he showed the path to Allah’s pleasure. With this great guidance, people can advance on the right path and distance themselves from the traps of the devil. Thus, they can find the meaning of their existence and take steps toward reaching the real treasure.

Are you evaluating Islam based on your lack of knowledge about Muslims or by referencing all current Muslims? We are easily deceived humans. Perhaps we consider ourselves very smart, don’t we? Believe me, those who can reach those true treasures are not every individual, but a small number of people. Because the treasure is valuable, reaching it requires faith, worship, patience, effort, a pure heart, and good morals.

There are traps and mind games surrounding that treasure. There are misleading reflections, slanders by people, and trials that try to immerse the truth. There are bad people too. So, in this chaos, how will we find the true path? Of course, there is a guide for this: our final book, the beautiful Quran, and the character of Muhammad (peace be upon him), who exemplified good morals. His life is the most valuable guide showing us the right way.

At this point, I have something to say: Did the devil never set traps? The devil set his greatest trap for Muslims. Muslims became divided among themselves and grew indifferent toward one another. But why? Because they believed in the final book and all the prophets. They were very close to the treasure.

As one approaches the treasure, do the traps not increase? Certainly, they do. That’s why the greatest traps are set for those closest to the treasure. In this case, those closest to the treasure risk losing it or straying onto the wrong path.

So, what was it that distanced them from the treasure? They knew the last book and the last prophet, but they did not read, investigate, or examine. They believed in what they heard from their traditions and what their parents told them. They tried to learn this information from their surroundings, media, and friends. Yet there was a Quran whose first command was 'read.' There was also a prophet whose life was the Quran and who taught us beautiful morals.

Some of the Muslims, who do not read all of this and are conditioned with "do not read, you won't understand," unfortunately fell into the traps of ill-intentioned people or those who chase fame, status, and money.

However, the Almighty Creator often tells us in the Quran, 'Do you not use your intellect?' There is no doubt that the Quran has not changed; but do we not have the ability to research the false words that some people try to pass off as hadiths of our prophet? We do, but people feel so busy that they do not even bother to research the hadiths they hear in a few authentic books.

We said the treasure is valuable; can someone who does not strive to reach the treasure truly find it?

On one hand, the most important thing is Allah's (c.c) mercy. With that mercy, we can traverse those great paths in a very short distance. However, to achieve this, we need such a heart that when we are too lazy to even pray, can we truly possess that heart? The path is unfortunately filled with the traps of the devil and those who follow him.

So, what is it that will lead us to the conclusion? Very simple, do you know? It is reading the Quran, trying to understand it, and reasoning. We need to take the beautiful morals from the Quran and the good character of that beautiful prophet as our guide.

So, what is it that will lead us to the conclusion? Very simple, do you know? It is reading the Quran, trying to understand it, and reasoning. We need to take the beautiful morals from the Quran and the good character of that beautiful prophet as our guide. Because the Quran cannot be altered, we must believe in the real and strong hadiths without considering the weak hadiths that bad people show as "the words of the Prophet (peace be upon him)."

Furthermore, we must adopt a character of being clean-hearted, compassionate, and having good morals towards people and all other creatures, behaving in a way that does not hurt hearts. Of course, after fulfilling the obligatory acts of worship; discussing these acts is unnecessary because these are things we must do.

I know the devil has portrayed Islam badly to you, but read the Quran and see the beautiful morals of Muhammad (peace be upon him). Let’s see if it is as they have described or not. Enter the path to that treasure so that even our end, our death, may be a beautiful journey. As Mevlana Celaleddin said, may it be 'shab-i arus' (the wedding night).
